DESCRIPTION:MeetStop by SteMartaen will be providing our Vegan F*sh Fry Menu during this event. \nABOUT THE EVENT: You may know Tricia Hersey as the founder & Nap Bishop of The Nap Ministry\, but before that\, she was Lady Terror. From soapbox rants\, to poetry\, Lady Terror is ranting for a reason. Terrorizing for a cause. Using a space for rant to give voice to issues that matter\, or things being swept under the rug. \nLet’s be honest\, a lot of us have things to rant about. This is your opportunity. Hosted by Tricia\, and culminating in a keynote rant\, “Ranting for a Reason” is an opportunity for us to rant together\, listen to music\, have some drinks\, and welcome in new spring energy. \nThe $25 ticket cost goes directly to Free Street Theater\, a local social justice arts & culture organization\, paying artists to create original work about Chicago (freestreet.org). \nWhen you buy a ticket you enter for your chance to rant. On the evening of the event\, ten random names will be pulled\, each being given 3 minutes to rant about their chosen issue. Ranters will be asked ahead of the event what their topic is to make sure that their rant aligns with our community agreements. \nDon’t want to rant but still want to come? Just select “Not ranting” when purchasing your ticket.
